Electrotechnology Pre-apprenticeship Program

TRAIN TO BECOME ONE OF QUEENSLAND'S BRIGHTEST SPARKIES

This is a great opportunity for Year 12 school leavers.
The Program aims to train participants to be job ready for the electrotechnology industry.

How does the program work ?

The program provides industry skills training including a Certificate II Electrotechnology (Career Start) and vocational placement or workplace simulation. Following training, your progression into employment will be assisted through Energy Skills Queensland's industry networks.

Cost

The program provides industry skills training including a Certificate II Electrotechnology (Career Start) and vocational placement or workplace simulation. Following training, your progression into employment will be assisted through Energy Skills Queensland's industry networks.

  • The accredited training is funded by the Queensland Government at no cost to the participant.
  • For an outlay of $300:00, participants receive various requirements for the program such as text books, Student ID Card, Construction White Card, Trade Uniform, College Polo Shirt, First Aid (CPR) Certificate, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • In addition, students are required to purchase their own safety boots.
