This course is provided for apprentices and employers with apprentices requiring off-the-job training in a practical environment.
Students engaging in an Australian School-based Apprenticeship in a college environment will be encouraged to complete up to 45% of the course in the two years at College.

Job summary: The bricklyaing apprentice will: • lay bricks and blocks • construct masonry walls, stairs, corners; curved walls, structural masonry systems, piers and columns • pre-cut stone • concrete • use other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures
