Trade Equipment and Tool Allowances

Trade Trainer Suggested Tool List

All tools are available to the student-apprentices during College rotations.

Trade Trainers provide a suggested list of tools appropriate to each trade area.

These tools are not required until work placement takes place with prospective employers. However, some of these tools may be valuable to acquire prior to this process. Trade/Trainers will be happy to recommend specific items during their sessions at College. When the work placement period begins employers have requested that a prospective apprentice comes with a basic tool kit.

Student-apprentices should take the time to clearly name and safely store their tools.
