Trinity University of Asia, formerly Trinity College of Quezon City was founded through the concordant of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines and the Iglesia Filipina Independiente in 1963. It started with elementary school, high school and collegiate courses in Liberal Arts, Education and Commerce. Over the years, it expanded its curricular offerings to the Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Medical Technology, Nursing and Graduate School. The University consistently tops licensure examinations for nurses, medical technologists, and teaches. Now an emerging leader in the education of the country’s top artists, computer scientists, bankers, business managers and entrepreneurs.

Articulating the thrust of being eminently the best in Christian education and service learning, under the leadership of Dr. Josefina S. Sumaya the fifth and first woman university president together with the able members of the management committee always strive to imbue the students with Christian ideals of Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Excellence and Social Responsibility. Sustaining its image nationally and internationally paved the way to its university status granted on 18 July 2006. Now known as the Episcopal University in Asia with service-learning at its core, it rightfully claims its place of respect and glory in the Philippines, in Asia, and the rest of the world.
