University of Cebu

University of Cebu (UC) is an educational institution located at Cebu City, Philippines. It was founded in 1964. As an institution of higher learning, the university is committed to an authentic education founded on the principles of humanity, nationalism and academic excellence.

It houses four different campuses: the Main Campus along Sanciangko St.; the Banilad Campus along Brgy. Banilad Road, the UC-LM Campus (stands for Lapu-Lapu/Mandaue); and the UC-METC (stands for Maritime Educational Training Center) along Alumnos St., Mambaling.

  • Outstanding Institution, given by the Cebu City Government on the 70th Charter Day of Cebu City on February 24, 2007
  • Certificate of Good Standing, given by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) on July 15, 2008
  • Certificate of Recognition, given by the Professional Regulation Commission – Board of Accountancy (PRC) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) on June 27, 2008
  • Awarded by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as the Institution with the highest number of accredited programs in Region VII on December 10, 2010
