Prime Minister's 2010 Vocational Prizes awarded
The Minister for School Education, the Hon Peter Garrett MP, has announced the winners of the 2010 Australian Vocational Student Prize and Prime Minister’s award for Skills Excellence in School.
The Australian Trade College North Brisbane and the Australian Trade Training College operate as a co-educational independent Senior Secondary College and a Registered Training Organisation located in Scarborough, Qld. With a strong vocational focus, the College caters for students in Australian School-based Apprenticeships (ASbAs), Australian Apprenticeships (AAs) in traditional trades for domestic students, as well as providing education and training for the general public as well as international students.
Applicants will need to be eligible to work in Australia and must have a current OR will submit an application for a Working with Children "Blue Card". A suitability card is desired.
Electrotechnology TrainerExpressions of Interest are invited from suitably trade and Certificate IV TAE qualified persons to be responsible for providing quality learning and assessment experiences to students under the National Training Qualifications in the trade area of Electro technology.
A full-time position to start immediately is being offered with a very competitive remuneration package.
