Mr Terry O'Hanlon-Rose is one of Australia's leading educators and researchers in Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and is positioned well to lead the future development of the College. As an educational administrator, Terry has been committed to providing standards of excellence throughout an educational career, spanning over 30 years. He established this College, formerly the Australian Technical College North Brisbane which fast became the leading Australian Technical College in Australia.

Terry is a regular presenter at conferences (international, national, state and local) and is highly regarded by his educational peers. As a researcher, his publications include contributions to VETNetworker, Innovate Apprenticeships (Promoting Successful School-To-Work Transitions), the Journal of Mathematics Teaching and VOCAL Magazine.

A Fellow of the Australian College of Educators and a Fellow of the Business Educators Association Queensland, Terry is a doctoral candidate researching Authentic Employment-based training models. He holds higher degrees in Business, Information Technology and Education and also holds a degree in Science, majoring in Environmental Science and Geophysics. In his second term of Chair of VETnetwork Australia, Terry sits on the executive of several educational committees, both at a state and national level.

With the College expanding into the international arena, Terry has been instrumental with the implementation of the Transnational program and through these offshore relationships, has gained the respect of presidents of universities and colleges in the Asia-Pacific region.
