Certificate IV in Career Development

Program Details

This course is being offered to two specific groups and therefore has different requirements and completion methods for each. The General Entry is available for all candidates who wish to complete the qualification for personal development or for their current employment. Teacher Entry is offered to registered teachers where they can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and complete the course in shorter time.

1. General Entry

Entry Requirements

Good understanding of written and oral English Research skills applicable to AQF 4 level Successful completion of a Certificate III or equivalent in any field

Duration:

General applicants can study this program part-time over a period of 12 months. A blend of face-to-face and online learning is available.

Commencement:

To obtain a Certificate IV in Career Development 16 Units of Competency (13 Core and 3 Electives) will be completed in the following areas:

2. Teacher Entry

Entry Requirements

Registered teacher working in VET and/or Career Studies in schools, including those teachers involved in helping students develop SET Plans.

Teacher Aide in VET and/or Career Studies in schools, including those teachers involved in helping students develop SET Plans.

To obtain a Certificate IV in Career Development 16 Units of Competency (13 Core and 3 Electives) will be completed in the following areas:
